Programs & Initiatives of the British Council for Higher Education in Pakistan

Dr. Nishat visited Ibadat International University to discuss the importance of education in rural areas along with an educational background in remote areas. She also discussed the Scholarship programs available through British Council in Pakistan. Dr. Nishat Riaz has over 20 years of experience in educational leadership.

Nishat has been on governing boards of international development organizations for over 17 years including the Aga Khan Development Network and others. For her contributions to the field of education, Nishat was awarded the honorary title of Member of the British Empire (MBE) by Her Majesty, The Queen of the United Kingdom in 2017. Her
publications are part of international journals and edited books.
