Dean's Message

At the faculty of computer sciences we are striving to maximize our efforts not only to offer and teach computing related programs but to train our graduate to enable them to land safely and with pride in some work place of good repute. Computing domain is the most vibrant discipline and keeping abreast with the latest development is a challenging task. We try our best to keep our faculty updated with the new development in the theoretical as well practical aspect of the computing. Computing being the applied discipline, requires that graduate must be well versed with problem analysis, developing solutions, and implementing them using appropriate language and tool. We regularly enhance these capabilities in our taught courses, by in house seminar series, and as well as invited speakers from the industry.

As Dean of the faculty, my aim is to improve the already existing opportunities for our students to create new knowledge, prepare for careers, and address the evolving needs of the society. We do specifically focus on the overall grooming and character building of our graduates.

Our campus is a remarkable place to learn and enjoy the University life. As talented as our faculty and staff are, we realize that you will play the largest role in your development into an energetic graduate ready to take on the responsibilities of a young professional. My last words: “there is no short cut in life; hard work is only true savior”

Best wishes,

Dr. Arshad Ali Shahid
