Welcome to The Department of Diet & Nutritional Sciences (DDNS) at the Ibadat International University, Islamabad. Addressing the basic human need for access to nutritious food and to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals is one of the greatest challenges of our time. The department seeks to combine excellence in education with service to the industry. We are ecstatic you have chosen our department to expedite your passion for improving the health, wealth, prosperity, and equity of humanity through food and nutrition.

Collaboration with experts in multidisciplinary fields, within and outside of the University, is foremost and standard for students and faculty. We also value innovation and critical thinking in scholarly quests, transformative ideas and ambitions for the future. At present, we have research collaboration agreements with National Institute of Health Islamabad (NIH), which is premier research organization in Pakistan and worldwide.

Our research emphasize on the integration of food, clinical nutrition, dietetics and public health; biochemical and molecular nutrition; and nutrigenomics and food safety. We explore knowledge and evidence to improve global Human health, using our research, teaching and analysis to promote well being, prevent diseases and reduce health inequalities.

We have experienced faculty members, state of the art laboratories and classrooms, which are fully equipped with audio visual aids. Our faculty members and students always committed to design projects to transform scientific knowledge and innovate solutions that promote sustainable human and economic development worldwide

Vision: To reinforce the diverse nutrition and dietetic knowledge and healthy life style in students through trans-formative power of food and nutrition.
Mission: To develop a systematic and efficient understanding of latest knowledge, professional skills, principles of moral values and sense of responsibility in students focusing on human nutrition and dietetics to contribute in global health and well-being of the population through uplifting their nutritional status with intake of variety of foods, good dietary habits and healthy life style.
After completion of the degree, the students with range of advanced and specialist skills would be able to work in the following sectors:
