Thalassemia Awareness Seminar & Trait Screening Camp
- Department of Medical Lab Technology (Faculty of Allied Health & Biological Sciences) held a Thalassemia Awareness Seminar & Trait Screening Test at IIUI.
- The Guest speakers AVM(R) Aftab Hussain, Director of Sundus Foundation Islamabad and Mr. Rana Muhammad Saeed, Regional Coordinator Punjab Thalassemia & Other Genetic Disorder prevention & Research Instituite Lahore talked about Thalassemia, the components and usage of blood components for the thalassemia patients.
- They also talked about the importance of thalassemia screening procedure and safe way of blood donations.
